Sound problems

Postby studunihd » Mon Apr 28, 2014 8:06 pm

With the screen (3.2") connected there is static on the audio jack. The static gets louder once audio is played and then stays loud even if the audio playback is stopped. This does not occur if the screen is not connected. Any idea what causes this problem?
Can someone tell me which pins the screen uses, so I can try to only connect these and see if the problem persists?
Thanks

Hi,

LCD-PI screens use the following pins:

SCK, MISO, MOSI, SPI_CS0, SPI_CS1
GPIO27
GPIO17 - touchscreen interrupt
GPIO18 - not used by default, can be used for backlight controll by resoldering the solder jumper (on/off or pwm)
GND, +3V3, +5V
